Who would have thought that one of my favorite employees resigning would be one of the best leadership lessons of my career? Not me, but it gave me the opportunity to overcome a challenge that would eventually lead to me quadrupling profits and selling my business!

I started my small business fresh out of college in 1991 at the age of 23.
